Mathurot brings a wealth of international experience in marketing, communications and project/event management for non-profit organisations, internet start-ups, hospitality and the arts sector in Tokyo, New York, London, Bangkok to name a few.
In 2014, Mathurot’s passion for food led her to co-found an American BBQ catering and pop-up restaurant in the U.K. She curated a number of successful BBQ and beer pairing events and other promotional events to increase brand visibility and appreciation for authentic American BBQ. She has also cultivated working relationships with a number of reputable chefs through her travels and living in major food capitals of the world.
Mathurot believes that gastronomy is an art form that conveys a personal journey of the chef through his/her culinary creation. It is on this principle that she intends to curate a chef collaboration pop-up experience to engage diners in the chef’s journey as well as meld their innovative cuisine to match the client’s brand identity.
